Grooming Report

Everything combed and track set (with the exception of lower swamp road…that has been rolled but still too soft to get up steep hill with groomer.  The cold will firm the snow up nicely…but it is filling back in quickly with the new snow coming down.

Season Update

Our snowmobile is fully repaired and, assuming adequate snow, we should be open for skiing at the Game Club by Christmas week. Watch the club website (wolverineskiclub.com) and facebook page for grooming reports.

Please note skiing is not permitted until hunting season ends, after 12/16.

Just a few rules to remember when you are skiing at the game club:

1. Always stay on the groomed trails.

2. Carry out your garbage – leave no trace.

3. Obey the speed limit on the entrance road which is 20 mph. The road can be very slippery!

On Saturday December 20 we are having a trail cleanup. Meet at the pavilion at 9am. We will walk (hopefully ski) the trails to cut prickers, pick up branches and limbs etc.

Our annual classic race is scheduled for January 31.

Grooming Report

Groomed what I could this morning until I had equipment difficulties.  I was three passes shy of getting everything combed before I had to shut down.  So, the skating is great on almost everything…lower swamp road was not touched.  I was not able to set tracks.

Grooming Report

Everything touched up today and new tracks set.  The trails are in good shape right now, although a little more snow wouldn’t hurt.  Thanks to Matt for his shoveling on the swamp road “bridge”.
