Thanks to everyone for your help today. I was able to drag snow in the low spots with the groomer later this afternoon and it made a big difference. Skating at the Game Club is really good right now…fast and the snow feels very nice under the foot. There is a new track on the Green Belt. Enjoy!!
Sunday Jan 16 We will meet at the Game Club to work on the trail in preparation for the upcoming ESG/High School race at the end of the month. Bring a shovel and your skiis we will be filling in the low spots and leveling the trail.
The winning team from the Thursday Night relay. Held at the Game club at the end of the Kids program.
All trails touched up today and fresh track on the Green Belt. We finally have a good base to work with. Now we just need another foot of snow. However, skiing is hard and fast and should be very nice this weekend. Use caution on the same old thin and bumpy spots.
Groomed all trails AGAIN today. There is a fresh track on the Green Belt and a track has also been set on the perimeter of the Game Club. The snow continued to come down during grooming but hope it will not be too soft tomorrow.
Touched up all trails today with new track set on the Green Belt. Hope to get tracks in at the Game Club once the base sets up. Still not quite there yet. Skating at the Game Club is decent though.
Touched up all trails yesterday. There is a fresh track on the Green Belt (but dogs were there as I was grooming) and the Game Club was touched up (no tracks though). Things are getting better but we still need a good dumping before everything will be ideal. I hope to put tracks in at the Game Club over the weekend. Another 2 inches will help. Happy New Year!
Trails are groomed and in pretty decent condition. The Greenbelt has tracks set for classic and the Game Club is combed for skating. Use caution in all areas as the snow is thinner than it appears. I would not recommend using your best skis at this point. Another few inches will put us in great shape.
