WOLVERINE SKI CLUB YOUTH CROSS-COUNTRY SKI PROGRAM
The Wolverine Ski Club youth cross country skiing signup will take place Wednesday, December 5th and Thursday, December 13th at the Holland Patent Middle School in Room 212 from 4:00pm-6:00pm.
The program is open to children ages 6-13 and focuses on skiing fundamentals, games, touring and racing. Snow permitting, the program this year will run every Thursday from January 3rd through March. Skis and poles are provided by the club on a first-come, first-serve basis.
The Wolverines will be skiing at the New York State Bill Koch Festival in March at Bristol Mountain in Canandaigua. Over 100 youth skiers and their families will meet for 2 days of races, ski orienteering, biathlon clinics, ski games, awards and prizes.
The program fee is $12 per child for Wolverine Ski Club Members. A family membership is $47 or an individual student membership is $17. Only Wolverine Ski Club members are permitted to ski at the Trenton Fish & Game Club trails. Adults are welcome and encouraged to ski along with their children.
